SANTA ANA, Calif. - The No. 22 ranked Santa Ana College Women's Basketball team hosted its annual tournament from December 4-6 and picked up two wins to improve to a record of 8-3 on the year.
Despite dropping the first game of the tournament to No. 23 San Diego Mesa by a score of 70-62, the Dons responded with a couple of blowout wins over LA Harbor and Bakersfield to close out the event.
Anaya Beard earned all-tournament honors after averaging 20 points and 11.6 rebounds in the three game span. Fellow sophomore Mia Rivera also had an impressive outing, posting averages of 14 points, 6.3 assists and 3.3 steals to help lead the Dons.
SAC will take a break until they travel to El Camino College for their crossover on December 15th.
