CHULA VISTA, Calif. - Santa Ana Women's Volleyball traveled down to Chula Vista to compete in the Inaugural Jaguar Quad at Southwestern College on Friday, September 6th.
The Dons (2-3) picked up their first two wins of the season after sweeping Copper Mountain (0-3) in game one and outlasting Compton (0-5) in five sets in game two.
Freshman outside hitters Lyric Birdsong and Mia Kotani had great performances, combining for 58 kills, 17 digs and eight aces in the two games. Freshman setter Alexis Tortola added 69 assists, 12 aces and nine digs.
SAC will try to extend their winning streak on Wednesday, September 11th when they take on Rio Hondo on the road at 5:00 p.m.
