SANTA ANA, Calif. – After earning its second win of the season against Golden West last week, the Santa Ana volleyball team returned to Cook Gym to face No. 23 Cypress on Wednesday night.
The Dons were competitive but fell by a score of 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-17) to drop to 1-6 in conference play.
Sophomores Stephanie Ozokwo and Hannah DeGrasse were again the focal points of the Dons offense. Ozokwo went for a team-high 12 kills while DeGrasse recorded eight. The pair also combined for nine digs and two aces.
Santa Ana will try to bounce back at home against Saddleback College on Friday, October 12th at 6:00 p.m.
