SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana volleyball hosted the No. 1 ranked Irvine Valley Lasers in Wednesday's Orange Empire Conference (OEC) contest. The Dons were swept, 3-0 (25-12, 25-6, 25-10) to drop to 1-9 overall, 0-3 in the OEC.
Stephanie Ozokwo led the Dons in kills with five and was closely followed by Alexis Santos, who posted three. Karissa Mumford, Hannah DeGrasse and Destiny Torres pitched in as well, combining for six kills, three digs and three block assists.
Jasmin Cardona assisted on nine of Santa Ana's 14 kills and attributed four digs while libero Stephanie Huerta recorded a team high eight digs.
The Dons will travel to Riverside on Friday for another OEC contest against the RCC Tigers.
