SANTA ANA, Calif. – Leyna Wood scored two goals to lead the Santa Ana women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory against non-conference opponent San Diego City College on Tuesday. Wood's three goals on the season make her the team leader and have her tied for 14th in the state.
Stephanie Duarte added to the Dons lead with her first goal of the season in the 53rd minute off a pass from Coco Ortega.
The Dons dominated possession of the ball, shooting eight more shots and taking six more corner kicks than the Knights.

Santa Ana will stay home to host Southwestern College in their last pre-season match of the year. Southwestern is coming off a loss to Fullerton College and sit at a record of 1-1.
