SANTA ANA, Calif. - The Santa Ana College women's soccer team opened the 2024 season by hosting West Los Angeles College.
The Dons were outshot 7-2 throughout the game but held 3-1 advantage in corner kicks. After 90 hard fought minutes, the teams ended the match with a 0-0 draw.
Goalkeeper Noemi Reyes kept a clean sheet and came up with a huge save in the 69th minute to keep the score tied at 0. The only shots of the day for Santa Ana came from Vanessa Sanchez and Karen Juarez.
SAC will have a long break before traveling to LA Valley to take on the Monarchs at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10th.
