Emily Rosas Earns 3CFCA Pitcher of the Week, SAC Softball Checks in at No. 10 in the State Polls
The No. 10 ranked Santa Ana softball team will take on Santiago Canyon on Wednesday in its first Orange Empire Conference game of the season.
GLENDORA, Calif. – The California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association (3CFCA) released its first coaches poll on Tuesday (2/11) with Santa Ana checking in at number 10 in the state and fifth in the south.
Santa Ana sits at a record of 4-1 after defeating Southwestern 7-4 last Thursday. The Dons will be back on the road to begin Orange Empire Conference play against Santiago Canyon on Wednesday afternoon.
3CFCA AWARDS: Emily Rosas was named the 3CFCA week one Pitcher of the Week! Rosas is 4-0 with a 2.18 ERA. The sophomore from Villa Park threw the majority of a combined no-hitter against Citrus on January 31st.
