Gunter Awarded Second Team All OEC
Xavier Gunter was awarded a spot on the All Orange Empire Conference Second Team after having a remarkable sophomore season.
SANTA ANA, Calif. – Xavier Gunter represented the Santa Ana College Men's Basketball team as the only Don to be voted onto one of the 2017-18 All Orange Empire Conference Teams.
The sophomore from Long Beach Poly averaged a double-double with 13.6 points and 11.3 rebounds in 24 games played this season. He led the conference in rebounding and blocks while coming in second in field goal percentage at a clip of 60.9 percent.
Gunter had a remarkable season, breaking the single game record for rebounds with 29 against El Camino, and led his team to three more wins than the previous season.
