SANTA ANA, Calif. – After pulling out a 55-52 win in a thrilling overtime shootout against Antelope Valley last week, the Santa Ana football team is set to host Fullerton College in the 97th Key to the County Game on Saturday night.

The Hornets are coming off their first loss of the season after dropping one at home to the Riverside City College by a score of 16-7. Fullerton is led by quarterback Quinn Commans (594 yrds/3 tds) and defensive lineman Josh Tarango (14tkl/3 scks).

Santa Ana will rely on the play of their standout quarterback Luke Wilson, who has been red hot to start the season. After two games, the sophomore from Yorba Linda High ranks second in yards per game at 476 and is tied for first in passing touchdowns in the state with 11. Wilson has already broken school records for touchdown passes (6) and passing yards (568) in a game this season.

These two football programs will continue the historic rivalry that goes back 1916. The Hornets lead the series 49-43-4.
