SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana's Bryan Leef was voted onto the 2018 CCCBCA All-Southern California Baseball team after a remarkable sophomore season.
Leef showed big improvements from his freshman season in many statistical categories. The outfielder from Esperanza High posted a batting average of .329, 20 points higher than his freshman year, to go along with 37 runs batted in and conference best seven home runs.
He also decreased his strikeout total by 12 and drew five more walks, bringing his on base percentage from .358 to .406.
The honor just adds to the long list of accomplishments he's gathered in his two year with the Dons, including his two First Team All-Orange Empire Conference selections.
